Kate Schank, American translator of "Live to Tell: A True Story of Religious Persecution in Communist Albania"
Fr. Zef Pllumi (1924-2007) was born in Lezha, Albania. His youth was spent in the Franciscan schools and the Walnut Monastery of Shkodra. After the war, he was persecuted and imprisoned under the Hoxha communist regime. He wrote his story in 3 volumes, prior to his passing.
